Helm Foundation has served meals to more than 20,000 people as of now, at a subsidized cost. Here our approach is not simply to offer free handouts, which could inadvertently hurt people’s dignity or discourage self-reliance. Instead, we charge the food at affordable rates, to preserve the self-worth and pride.
